What we love is movement!

Creating it, adjusting it, exploring it, understanding it...movement is life!

We all have the capacity for some form of movement, from the beating of your heart to synapse connections that pass messages around your body, every living person moves every moment of their life.

So we celebrate it here at Trainquality because we celebrate life.

Who are we?

Ruth Edington-Sheather

Ruth's biggest belief is that everybody should have access to affordable quality training for rehab, prehab, and bio-mechanical understanding of their body.

She carries this through to all her teaching be it Dance, Pilates or Yoga.

As someone who spent her life performing for a living she often could not afford proper rehabilitation and support and this meant she was working around injuries that could have been fixed. She wanted to stop that happening to other people.

Ruth started Personal Training and teaching Pilates 15 years ago and has been studying, learning and teaching ever since.

Her loves are Dance, Anatomy and Bio-mechanics and her mission in life is to learn all she can and pass on that knowledge, to help people understand the way their body works, to minimise pain and to improve quality of movement at every level of ability.


Marianne Edington-Sheather

Marianne has been working and teaching in the Fitness Industry for over 18 years as a Group fitness instructor, personal trainer and Fitness/Facility manager.

She has done presentations at FILEX, been an instructor trainer in several systems of training and has always been passionate about making a difference to people's lives.

When she is not at the studio she is working in disability services and has taught Swimming, Personal Training, Zumba and Chiball for clients of all abilities.

Marianne is dedicated to improving the well-being of people with special needs and creating a sense of inclusiveness and support for all.

Thank you to everyone who has stuck with us through the challenges of 2020. We are all hanging in here still and looking forward to getting back into the studio for 2021's classes.

Classes restart on Monday 4th January. Government guidelines for Covid safety have just changed with mask wearing being made mandatory in many indoor places and recommended for all indoor venues so we are going to suggest that, if you feel capable of doing class in your mask for now, it might be a good idea. Listen to your body and check in with what you feel safe doing. We want to keep everyone as safe as possible whilst this cluster is brought under control. Remeber that if you think you may have symptoms or have been in contact with someone who has, or just don't feel that in studio classes are right for you yet, we are still running online options for all classes and we love the fact that we have this option.

Booking System Changes

As some of you may already have noticed, in order to keep the studio open we have had to make some changes. One of these is to stop using the Mindbody app. We have transferred all your class passes into our new system and we have chosen to take a more personal approach as it has worked well during lockdown and we've loved staying in contact with everyone better. So now, all you have to do is send us a text letting us know which class you want to be booked into and we will book you in. This means we know in advance who is coming, which is crucial under current restrictions as we only have space for 6 people in each class under Covid guidelines.

Because of the limited numbers allowed in class, it is really important that if you change your mind and wish to cancel your slot in a class, you do give us notice so that others can take your place. Therefore we are implementing a cancellation policy. If you have booked a spot in a class and wish to cancel it, you will need to have let us know that you are cancelling at least three hours prior to the start of your class, otherwise we will have to charge you for the class attendance. This will allow people who are on on a waiting list for any class, to be given plenty of notice if a space becomes available.

We hope you understand why we need to implement this policy and we appreciate your support in this.
